For the project highlighted here, a customer in the communications industry contacted us for consultation in a micro-machining application. Machining miniature or sub-micro components require an entirely different skillset and level of experience than standard machining, and we employ some of the most experienced machinists in the industry.

The stainless steel component shown here is a mere 1 mm thick and measures 1″ by 5″ across. Geometric tolerances as tight as ±0.0002″ were held as required in accordance with customer specifications. Dimensional layouts were performed with precision metrology instruments to verify that all customer specifications were met.
